Professor Liu Donghong's team won the second prize of national Technological Invention Award in 2020

The project "Key Technology and Application of High performance equipment for sterilization and filling of Packaged Food", led by professor Liu Donghong's team as the first completion unit of our school, won the second prize of National Technological Invention Award.
Sterilization and packaging are the last line of defense for food safety and quality assurance. Packaging food sterilization involves food, container, environment and other multidimensional complex system, there are long-term difficult precise control of sterilization intensity, high temperature dynamic sealing requirements, filling long-term aseptic maintenance difficult equipment technical problems. Since the 1950s, European and American JBT, BOSCH and other enterprises monopolized the equipment market in this field, which seriously restricted the independent development of China's food industry. Project team for the above equipment technical difficulties studying more than ten years, successfully developed high temperature sterilization, efficient aseptic filling and a series of continuous sterilization filling equipment, realize the enormous quantity of liquid milk, vegetable protein beverage, canned food and other products of successive high efficiency, short sterilization with high quality packaging, supported the Chinese food made in China, So that the Chinese people can eat better, safer and more assured food.
